Hi and welcome to FatFitnessFood! I am Rebecca! I am married, in my 20s and I am losing weight. I started my weight loss blog in December of 2008 and I soon became hooked. As well as going to Weight Watchers, I started reading lots of other people’s blogs and writing on my own everyday and it helped me to lose 20lbs very fast!

After that first 20lbs my weight loss came to a grinding halt. I would gain 2lbs one week, lose 3 the next week, gain 1.5lb the next week….getting the idea? During that time I had also left Weight Watchers for 3 months thinking I could go it alone-I was wrong. I am just not ready to go it alone yet. So I am back at Weight Watchers, I am blogging regularly and I am more determined than ever that I will live healthy!

My first blog was on Blogger and whilst it was very simple to use and taught me a lot about blogging, I began to get bigger ideas and felt I was being limited by the templates there. I am super fortunate to have an electrical engineer for a husband so here’s how we work it for the new blog: I come up with the ideas/images he writes the code for me! Well…at least that is how it started out! But now I am actually trying a lof of it on my own!

I was born and raised in Ireland. My husband  is American and we have spent most of our time together in Southern California. We have just moved back to Southern California after spending a couple of years in Ireland.
