Some final cuddles with one of my nieces on Halloween night in Ireland.

We both got spoiled by our of our friends and family in Ireland with amazing leaving presents!
We found an apartment we love in Irvine, CA. We picked the best location in the whole complex! Its just a new community so we had a lot of choice and also the added bonus of a brand new unit that no one has ever lived in before. This is the view from our patio. Its so amazing at night.
We even have cabanas by the pool right outside our door! Better than most 5 star hotels I have been to!
Our apartment is just a shell because our furniture hasn't arrived from Ireland yet but here's a pic of my messy kitchen in the meantime. Just so you have an idea. I made my first healthy meal here last night! Turkey tacos! So great for 9 points!

I am so happy with how the move went. It was diaster free (well if I leave out gaining 10lbs!). My family and friends in Ireland gave us such an amazing send off and arriving in California felt like a home coming for both of us. We’ve definitely made the right decision.
